When booking your seats please note that it will be important that you book in advance either online, on the telephone or from our Box Office. There will only be a limited ‘walk-up’ availability for seats at the time of the screening.
Most tickets issued will be E-Tickets which will be sent to you via email (we will still retain the ability to print tickets as a last resort if you do not have an email address or have lost your booking details).
You will still be able to provide relevant details for NHS Track & Trace should you have failed to do so at the point of booking your tickets.
Finally, unless exempt, we advise that customers wear a Face Covering. You may remove it whilst you are seated for the duration of the film.
Anthony is 80, mischievous, living defiantly alone and rejecting the carers that his daughter, Anne, encouragingly introduces. Yet help is also becoming a necessity for Anne; she can’t make daily visits anymore and Anthony’s grip on reality is unravelling. As we experience the ebb and flow of his memory, how much of his own identity and past can Anthony cling to? How does Anne cope as she grieves the loss of her father, while he still lives and breathes before her? THE FATHER warmly embraces real life, through loving reflection upon the vibrant human condition; heart-breaking and uncompromisingly poignant – a movie that nestles in the truth of our own lives.
