Hunting for Witches – Live Theatre + Film Screening ‘Blair Witch Project’ (15cert)

16th October 2025 | 7:30pm

Duration: 2hrs 30mins15 certificate

You are invited to join us for this momentous and exciting event as Hailsham Pavilion embarks on a brand-new venture … it’s very own Amdram group … The Pavilion Players.
This new group is a rebranding of the Dicker Players, a well-established and much-loved local group who have performed so often at the Hailsham        Pavilion that we thought we should move in permanently! Many of the faces on stage will be familiar to you but look out for the new ones too.
For our first production you are getting two shows for the price of one!
Get spooky in time for Halloween with a night of witchcraft with a brand new one act play. Hunting for Witches is a gripping story about two sisters, a bitter rivalry, and the destructive power of mass hysteria. Set in the mid-seventeenth century, a simple act of jealousy spirals into rumours of dark magic. The arrival of a cunning, professional witch hunter throws the entire village into a state of frantic accusations, mistrust and self-preservation.
After the play you are invited to stay on for a special screening of the classic ground-breaking horror film … ‘The Blair Witch Project’ — at no extra cost!
This film is rated 15 so is not suitable for under 15s.

Prepare to be scared! Dressing up is strongly encouraged.
