The Manager's View

The Hailsham Pavilion is a priceless cultural community hub for many many reasons. Apart from screening a very broad mix of films for public consumption, including some amazing satellite feeds from the National Theatre and the Royal Opera House. We also provide the the wider community with a venue to see the very best in live music and theatre productions, including a venue for many amateur groups to meet and perform theatre, dance and live music.

We work very closely with local schools and charities as well as the library service, and host educational film screenings, musical workshops and live showcases, as well as projection room tours and reading events. We even provide local schools with a venue for pupils to present and see their own films on the big screen with a series of student film events.

A vital part of the local voluntary sector providing voluntary work in a large number of capacities for over 150 people from a widerange of ages and backgrounds. This gives local people a very real opportunity to give something back to their community, meet new people, learn additional skills, improve their employment options and overall quality of life.

All in all the Hailsham Pavilion is a wonderful community project serving the town and wider area, bringing entertainment to our customers at great value and with a smile!

We look forward to welcoming you to the Hailsham Pavilion.
