To commemorate 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau on HMD 2025 we will be screening the film ‘One Life’ and taking a short presentation from the students of Hailsham Community College who have just returned from a visit to Auschwitz.
‘ONE LIFE’ – Tells the incredible story of Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton, a young London broker who, in the months leading up to World War II, rescued over 600 children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia.
