Comic is a 30 min (approx.) short film shot locally in August this year. The 11 strong main cast are all between 11 and 13, and the supporting crew were all 16 or under. The film was written and directed by Gareth Jones and filmed by Paul Simmons and Paul Gibson, with significant input from the cast and crew. This screening is primarily for the family and friends of everyone involved who we couldn’t fit into the private premier, but all are welcome. The ticket revenue will be divided between Shining Knight and the Hailsham Pavilion, so by coming along you will be supporting two great local causes. Gareth Jones will add a little detail in his introduction so please arrive 10 minutes before the published show time.
Shining Knight Productions is a new film company based in Hailsham that specialises in working with young people in front of and behind the camera.
Nobody gets paid (including us) but nobody gets charged either!
