This session is given over to celebrating the work of truly local filmmakers! Shining Knight Productions are a Hailsham based Independent Film Company whose aim is to give young people the opportunity to take part in the filmmaking process both in front of and behind the camera.
Just before Christmas last year the company’s director, Gareth Jones, was introducing “Elf” to the Pavilion Film Club when two boys walked in and sat directly in front of him dressed as elves. He realized that an opportunity was presenting itself, especially when he thought about the fabulous tree that was gracing the home of a hugely supportive friend.
“The Midnight Elves” was conceived. Filmed over one evening a little while later and edited over many more and Shining Knight are very happy to present it to you now.
7 minutes and 24 seconds of Christmas fun based around the idea of Santa’s Elves visiting in the month before Christmas.
